Opening the ocean
for everyone
We offer free surf lessons for local youth - giving young people on Maio access to the ocean, new experiences and a safe space to grow. Boards, teaching, transport - all included, so every kid gets a change to surf.
More than a sport
Surfing builds confidence, resilience and focus.
For many young people facing daily challenges, the ocean becomes a place to breath, learn and discover what they're capable of - both in the water and in life.
Building futures
through waves
With few opportunities for sports or structred free-time, surfing becomes a gateaway for young people on Maio. It builds community, creates positive routines and even opens doors to future paths - from coaching to tourism to environmental work.
